A Housing Subscription for Slow Travelers: $1,000/Month, Live Across Our Homes

A search for “housing subscription live anywhere monthly” can mean different things. Here, it means the NomadBase Freedom Pass: a membership for stays across our network of homes, rather than a monthly booking at one apartment. The network, included services and stay rules define what that subscription covers.

What “live anywhere monthly” means here

NomadBase frames the Freedom Pass as a housing subscription: one monthly fee for stays across the network of homes, not a single apartment. “Live anywhere” refers to the homes in this network, not every city or any accommodation you choose. It is a way to keep one membership as you move between our homes.

What's in the subscription

Founding Monthly costs $1,000/month, and Annual costs $10,000/year. The network-wide minimum is 30 nights. Boston has a separate cap of 7 nights per month, so it is not included on the same stay basis as the other cities. Keep that distinction in mind when planning a longer stay across the network.

The homes are in Comanche, Texas; Sarasota, Florida; Boston, Massachusetts; Durrës, Albania; and six Yunnan cities: Anning, Yuxi, Jianshui, Mile, Shilin, Pu'er. The Yunnan homes are run by partner 大莫旅居. The pass includes utilities, Wi-Fi or Starlink, trip-planning help, member community.

Yunnan includes 3 meals a day. Food is not included at US and Albania homes, and flights, visas and insurance are not included in the pass. Those costs sit outside the housing subscription. Pets are allowed only at Comanche, Texas; the other homes do not allow pets.

Direct stays vs. the pass

Some cities also list a direct monthly price. That price is for a single-home stay, while the Freedom Pass is the subscription across homes. The pass replaces booking a single home each month with one network membership. Compare the Homes page with the membership option rather than treating every direct monthly listing as the price of the pass.

Who it's for

The pass is for slow travelers and location-flexible workers who want one membership across homes rather than booking each month. Think about the network locations, the general minimum stay and Boston's separate monthly cap together. The distinction between included housing services and excluded meals or travel costs also matters when deciding whether this approach fits your plans.

Apply for the pass

Apply for the Freedom Pass through the Apply page. Members request stays through the portal. Before applying, compare the homes and read the Membership Agreement and Refund Policy. The subscription is a network membership; the portal is where members request their stays within that network.
